Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee. (Song of Solomon 1:4 KJV)
There is a great need for us to come into the chamber of the King. He has called us, and desires us to come alone with Him. Without an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, we have nothing to give. Our teaching will be lifeless and bear no fruit.
Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. (Hosea 2:14 KJV)
If we do not worship first, then we stand and have nothing to minister, because nothing has been conceived in our spirit by the Spirit of God. When that happens, our church’s worship becomes a ritual that is empty and tend to steal the move of the Spirit. The church is swollen with ministry. We have enough programs to last a lifetime. We need to get back to worship and build the house of God on adoration, not business concepts. Worship brings us to a place where we can see ourselves as He sees us.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (John 12:32 KJV)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (James 4:8 KJV)
