Thought of the Day 10-4-17

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8, 9 NKJV)

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (Romans 12:3 KJV)

Faith is that invisible confidence that something exists other than what you presently see. Faith is the ability to believe. You have the measure of faith. You have the same Faith Jesus has when you were born again. Faith is a gift from God.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:22-24 KJV)

The proof of your faith is revealed in your pursuit of the unseen. Faith is the seed planted in the soil of your spirit. Active Faith is when a man uses his believing ability to obtain something he wants from God. The presence of your Faith is proven by something you do in obedience to God and His word. The ability to believe already exists within you. It’s the substance called Faith.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 KJV)

In Mark 5:28-29, the hemorrhaging woman carried an invisible picture of her healing within her heart. Romans 4:18-21, Abraham pictured his children. Your life will always move in the direction of your most dominant thought.
