Thought of the Day 7-27-16

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1, 2 NKJV)

How do we find the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God in your life? The Holy Spirit expresses the mind of Christ for you on a very personal level, helping you find and walk in the absolute perfect will of God for your life.

But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” (Mark 4:20 NKJV)

Many people spend their entire lives in the “thirtyfold” stage, because they don’t know how to release the power of the Holy Spirit inside of them, by offering of your body as a living sacrifice, you will go through a process that causes you to no longer be conformed to this world. As you renew your mind to prove not only the good, but acceptable and finally the absolute perfect will Of God. The power of my reborn spirit as it is edified and built up by the Holy Spirit.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26 NKJV)

Likewise means “in this matter”. This is how the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities. Infirmities refers to our inability to produce results because or our limitations imposed on us by our flesh. Weaknesses is the Greek word infirmities. Because the Holy Spirit is the one who seizes hold of every thing that is contrary to God’s will for your life and uses His power to replace it with God’s perfect will. You have to discover how to walk in the Spirit and not after the flesh. I have found out that to allow the Holy Spirit to work God’s plan in my life that I have to pray in the Holy Ghost.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:26, 27 NKJV)

Thought of the day 7-20-16

It was a golden day in my life when I discovered that I could give away something I possessed- A SEED- to receive something I did not presently possess-a HARVEST. A seed is anything you can contribute to another. It is anything you are capable of giving away! An hour of your time invested in someone with a need, is a seed. Kind words, friendships, loyalty, money, anything that you plant toward people or God’s work is what is called A SEED.

SEED-FAITH is when you plant your seed with EXPECTATION of a specific Harvest. Is is your seed planted in faith for a specific result or miracle. God planted His best seed-Jesus-to create a harvest: THE FAMILY OF GOD. He gave something He treasured to reap an even greater benefit. His Dream-Seed was the body of Christ. His seed was His Son, Jesus Christ.

This is the principle of Seed-Faith. Is is the opposite of selfishness that operates in the world system. Selfishness is hoarding; selfishness is depriving another to advantage yourself. Seed-Faith is giving away something you have, to create something you don’t have.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38 KJV)

Thought of the Day 7-13-16

God knows how you like to go outside at night and gaze up at the stars; how majestic mountains take your breath away; and how the sun setting over the ocean thrills your heart. God is glad you love His universe so much. But now consider a much more precious design than all of these things: you!

Not only are you God’s most prized creation, but God had you in mind all along while He was forming the universe. God made you in His image so we could have a relationship with each other. God formed your mind so you could think; He gave you words so you could speak; and He gave you a heart so you could dream. You are God’s own, the one He loved so much and of whom He is so proud.

Are we not all children of the same Father? Are we not all created by the same God? Then why do we betray each other, violating the covenant of our ancestors? (Malachi 2:10 NLT)

Thought of the Day

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful to me. (Psalms 26:11 NKJV)

Every day is a gift from God. Do you believe that? God knows that you do not always wake up with anticipation of what each day will bring. Some days it seems impossible for you even to face the world. If you don’t, though, you’ll miss out on something great, because God always has something special in store for you.

Today is an adventure, if only you will embrace it. The most action packed movie you have ever seen or thrilling book you have read pales in significance to what you can experience through God. Make sure you are with Him every day of your life, because you definitely don’t want to miss out on one minute with God. He is always there to greet you.

This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ (Jeremiah 6:16 NIV)
