And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. (Genesis 9:12, 13 NKJV)
God made a deal with earth to not flood it anymore. Look this says, perpetual generation.
“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. (Isaiah 54:9 NKJV)
Remember this is after Isaiah 53, the crucifixion and resurrection.
For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:10 NKJV)
God can’t remove My Covenant of Peace because Jesus was chastised for my Peace
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)
And that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. (Ephesians 4:23, 24 NASB)
I know how you like to go outside at night and gaze up at the stars; how majestic mountains take your breath away; and how the sun setting over the ocean thrills your heart. It’s wonderful to look at the universe and see God’s beauty. But now consider a much more precious design than all of these things: You!
Not only are you God’s most prized creation, but God had you in mind all along while He was forming the universe. God made you in His image so we could have a relationship with each other. God formed your mind so you could think; God gave you words so you could speak; and God gave you a heart so you could dream. You are His own, the one that He loves so much and of whom He is so proud.
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7 NLT)
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (Matthew 6:34 NLT)
Why do you worry? Has God ever let you down, or not been able to carry your burdens upon His immeasurable broad shoulders? How He longs for you to come to Him with all your concerns. It is not a mark of weakness when you rely on Him, but rather, it,is a sign of great faith and an example to others of His commitment and power.
How He longs for you to run to His arms and pour out your heart to Him. He loves you so much, and He desires to prove it to you over and over. So don’t worry about anything, be,it big or small, but instead trust in His goodness.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 NKJV)
