Thought of the Day 2-26-15

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. (John 12:24 NKJV)

The harvest hidden within a seed will never be revealed until the seed dies and becomes useless for any other purpose. When you sow your seed into the work of the Lord, it becomes useless to your own plans and purposes and becomes available to be multiplied back to you as a harvest.

Thought of the Day 2-16-15

And said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? (Matthew 19:5 NKJV)

When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. (John 19:26, 27 NKJV)

Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:45, 46 NKJV)

What is happening here is Jesus is leaving His Father and Mother and cleaving to His Bride (Church).

Thought of the Day 2-11-15

And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. (Genesis 9:12, 13 NKJV)

God made a deal with earth to not flood it anymore. Look this says, perpetual generation.

“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. (Isaiah 54:9 NKJV)

Remember this is after Isaiah 53, the crucifixion and resurrection.

For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:10 NKJV)

God can’t remove My Covenant of Peace because Jesus was chastised for my Peace

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)

Thought of the Day 2-4-15

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. (John 15:9 NKJV)

It is a disturbing thought that you can lose your awareness of the love the Lord has for you. It is a scriptural truth that the Lord loves His disciples, but how often do you wake up in the morning and thank Him for the love by telling Him how much you love Him? It is a inspiration for the day to wake up and profess, “I sincerely love you, Lord!”

Jesus promised that when you realize your dependence on Him, you will be able to do things that are simply beyond your ability. You can never realize your full potential before you are united with Him in love. He reminds you that, without Him, you can do nothing, but by remaining in Him, your horizons are broadened and your strength increased.

It is a serious tragedy that many Christians attempt to serve the Lord without the indispensable love that they should have for Him. They are active in Christian service, but the inspiration of the love for God and their fellow man is still lacking. The Lord has harsh words for these people. He says that anyone who does not remain in Him, will be separated from Him. He does not bring about the separation; they do so themselves through their lack of love.

Develop an ever-increasing love for Jesus Christ so that you will be drawn closer to Him and become aware of His living presence. Jesus, let us never lose awareness of Your love, but may it always remain fresh and new.

Thought of the Day 2-2-15

Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. (Luke 8:43,

And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” (Luke 8:45 NKJ)

But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” (Luke 8:46 NKJV)

Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” (Luke 8:47, 48 NKJV)

Go in Shalom (health, wealth, peace). I believe that Jesus and God are the same. God had never called anyone daughter before. Jarius is right there and sees this woman get

While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.” But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” (Luke 8:49, 50 NKJV)

God has limited His Grace to human faith. Jesus said, “Only Believe.”

When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. (Luke 8:51 NKJV)

Only Seven people were allowed in the house. Peter, James, and John, which means the law is replaced by Grace.

Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead. But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, arise.” Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat. And her parents were astonished, but He charged them to tell no one what had happened. (Luke 8:52-56 NKJV)

He turned to the woman with the issue of blood, He didn’t have too. He close too. He turned to the woman for Jarius sake. The daughter is 12 years old, and the woman with the issue of blood was sick 12 years. The woman with the issue of blood had unable to bear children, but today she can.

But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6 NKJV)

I believe that God is talking to Israel here. The woman with the issue of blood is symbolic of filthy rags. Our own righteousness is like filthy rags. As long as one generation is living by their own righteousness, the next generation is dying. The moment that the woman with the issue of blood is healed, Jesus calls her daughter. Jesus immediately goes down the street to Jarius house and the 12 years old girl has her spirit returned to her. When the Church discovers their sonship and righteousness, the next generation is going to have the spirit returned to their bodies. This is a prophetic revelation, when Jesus healed the woman from unrighteousness, the daughter could live.
