Thought of the Day 7-30-14

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (Ephesians 3:14-20 NKJV)

Now, read this prayer, and meditate on every word. Let it sink way down deep, until it overtakes every problem, every pain, or whatever else is trying to be the biggest thing in your life. You have the fullness of God living on the inside of you. I believe the Holy Spirit put this prayer in Paul’s heart for you and me to pray. So let’s pray this prayer and let God be big in our lives!

Thought of the Day 7-25-14

St. Augustine said, “you flashed, you shone, you chased away blindness, you became fragrant and I inhaled and sighed for you. I tasted and now hunger and thirst for you. You touched me; and I burned for you embrace.”

Prophetic Words

We declare Goldsboro will have a move of God! We are declaring worshipers and Intercessors to come to the forefront. They will call upon the name of The Lord night and day. Come worshipers and Intercessors, bride and the Spirit say, “come.”

And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:7, 8 NKJV)

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. (Isaiah 62:6, 7 NKJV)

Thought of the Day 7-18-14

Harriet Tubman said, “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember you have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

Confession of the Day 7-14-14

Ephesians 1:17-23
…asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give me spiritual wisdom and insight, so that I might grow in my knowledge of God. I pray that my heart will be flooded with light so that I can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that I will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead, and seated him in the place of honor, at God’s right hand, in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

Thought of the Day 7-8-14

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1, 2 NKJV)

How do we find the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God in our lives? The Holy Spirit expresses the mind of Christ for you on a very personal level, helping you find and walk in the absolute perfect will of God for your life.

But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” (Mark 4:20 NKJV)

Many people spend their entire lives in the “thirtyfold” stage, because they don’t know how to release the power of the Holy Spirit inside them. By offering your body as a living sacrifice, you will go throughout a process that causes you to no longer be conformed to this world. The power of your reborn Spirit as it is edified and built up by the Holy Spirit.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26 NKJV)

Likewise means “In this matter.” This is how the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities. Infirmities refers to our inability to produce results, because of our limitations imposed on us by our flesh. I have found out that to allow the Holy Spirit to work God’s plan in our life as I pray much in the Holy Ghost.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (I John 4:4 NKJV)

Confession of the Day 7-2-14

Father, Your Word is true and I believe it. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that the Word of God prevails over my children. Your Word says that You will pour out Your Spirit upon my offspring and Your blessing upon my descendants. I believe and say that my children are wise and that they take heed to and are the fruit of godly instruction and correction. I love my children and I will diligently discipline them early. Because of that, they give me delight and rest.

Father, I take Your Word that says You will contend with him who contends with me, and You give safety to my children and ease them day by day. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out. I confess that You, Lord, give Your angels special charge over my children to accompany and defend and preserve them. I believe they find favor, good understanding and high esteem in Your sight, Lord, and in the sight of man.

I confess that my children are disciples taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is their peace and undisturbed composure. I believe I receive wisdom and counsel in bringing up my children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. And Your Word declares that when they are old they will not depart from it. So I commit them to Your keeping and I know and have confidence and trust that they are watched over and blessed of the Lord all the days of their lives, in Jesus’ Name.
